Bringing the community Together
A wide-range of events for all ages
The mission of the association is to support and strengthen the Irish community in France, in all its diversity. One of the primary ways we achieve our mission is by organising a wide range of events. Events include, cultural, sporting, online, social and even a visit from Santa! Our members also benefit from a range of discounts for events run by our Advantage Partners.
St. Patrick's Day Parade
In 2018, the association organised the first ever St. Patrick’s day parade in Paris. In 2019 the parade was even bigger and better, with over two thousand people attending. In 2020, the parade had to be cancelled so in 2021 we celebrated together online. This year, we will be together celebrating Sunday, March 13th!
One of the higlights for the association was a group trip to the inaugration of the Irish Peace Garden at the Historial Museum de la Grande Guerre, in Péronne.
A moving and fascinating day where we were warmly welcomed by the local communities.
A get-together before the hols, a ‘big night out’ for the community – music, dancing and chat, a great night.
In December 2019, H.E. Excellency Patricia O’Brien, Ambassador of Ireland to France welcomed our members to the embassy for our Christmas party, a wonderful occasion and a great turnout, despite the strikes!
KiDs Christmas Party
We have a very special honourary member in the assocation who comes to see us once a year. A certain Mr. Santa Claus always delights our younger members in December with presents, good humour and the odd song.
