St. Patrick’s Day was celebrated in style this year in a joint event by the Irish in France and the Centre Culturel Irlandais. After a two-year pandemic postponement the celebrations were kicked off with a jam-packed afternoon of entertainment.
It was yet another memorable St Patrick’s Day celebration for the Irish diaspora in France thanks to our attendees who showed up ready to paint Paris green.
The celebrations were commenced by H.E., Niall Burgess, Ambassador of Ireland to France and Mr. Ryan Tubridy. The outstanding Paname Connection Ceilidh Band and the Sarah Clark Academy of Irish dancing swiftly got the crowd up and dancing as good as Michael Flatley himself. To top of the night, No Crows provided an array of traditional, jazz and rock music as well as banter.
Crêperie St Honoré and McBrides were in full swing and Katherine and her team were busy face-painting in green, white and gold while Ryan Tubridy was busy on selfie duty!

As the time is coming closer, you can look forward to an early celebration in Paris on Sunday, March 13th at the Centre Culturel Irlandais. We’re delighted and honoured to co-host with the Centre Culturel Irlandais a fun packed afternoon of activities, that will kick off at 1pm. 
We are delighted to be joined by our guests of honour, His Excellency, Niall Burgess, Ambassador of Ireland to France and the one and only Ryan Tubridy of RTE.
We’ll have the Paname Connection Ceilidh Band and the Sarah Clark Academy Irish dancers, so dust off your dancing shoes and get ready to strut your stuff.
You can look forward to live music from No Crows, a fabulous folk orchestra all the way from Sligo.
McBrides Irish Bar will ensure you won’t get too thirsty while the Crêperie St Honoré will complete the Celtic touch with a taste of Brittany. 
Throughout the afternoon, face painter Katherine Temin will be on standby to help you paint Paris, and yourself, green.
